Roma-Line® is a unique Lining designed specifically for use as a Lining for Roman Blinds.The 100% Polyester basecloth ensures total stability and zero shrinkage.   

Compared with Linings which have a cotton content, Roma-Line® does not absorb moisture and thereby avoids the possibility of shrinkage or puckering. (We cannot recommend Linings with cotton content for the manufacture of Roman Blinds - for more details see pages 27 & 28). Roma-Line® is only to be used in the manuacture of Roman or Roller Blinds (not for use in curtain manufacturing).

Roma-Line is fully reversible, allowing either the coated or the Polyester side to face the window.  Using the Polyester side facing the window ensures that cords from the blind do not wear a hole in the Lining as occasionally occurs with acrylic coatings, following many years of normal operation.

Roma-Line® is fungal and mildew resistant making it ideal for areas of high humidity and condensation, such as bathrooms. Due to the stability of the Polyester basecloth, Roma-Line® is non-directional meaning that it can be used vertically or continuously (when used as a Blind Lining). Roma-Line® is available in Blockout White and Ivory. The 250cm width is cost effective and keeps wastage to a minimum.
